After a corporate career in London as a Senior Design Engineer., Lottie moved to Devon in 2015, and took up writing as a hobby.
Lottie loves to write contemporary romance, dystopian and speculative fiction. She is presently writing a science-fiction romance with high stakes, which she hopes to finish this year thanks to her wonderful critique and writing group: Devon Quill Society.
Nothing published (yet), but her contemporary romance based around a search and rescue team is out on submission to publishers and agents.
She also writes short stories and flash fiction. Some of her earliest work can be found at On a Westley Breeze (under construction) and Flight of the Eagle Owl, a picture story which she wrote in 2009 for her niece and nephew set around her Dad’s old house in Somerset.
In 2025, Lottie started up Opal & Ink: A web consultancy and design company at affordable prices.
Here are some of the people/organisations she’s worked with:
Teignmouth Writers – WHSArtist – Lynne McVernon – Ffion Mackenzie – Shaftesbury Theatre –
The Dolphin Kenton – Dartmoor Search & Rescue Ashburton (posters)
