Bob Fairbrother

Bob is originally from Sussex now living in Devon. He spent most of his life in the publishing industry with spells coaching and mentoring and within the computing sectors.

He enjoys creating and escaping to numerous worlds; some fall within the 100-metre sprint of Flash fiction, while the novels are akin to the exquisite torture of a trail marathon. Yes, he’s a runner, too.

Completing Project Deadhead after six years of learning the craft and one-hundred-ninety-seven drafts, has been a salve to his soul. But, alas, only for a short time, as he moves at tectonic plate speed on his second novel: Scorched Planet Policy.

With Zail’s memory gone, she puzzles over who she is, where she comes from, and what she is meant to do here.
And how is she going to get home?
As her memory returns, Zail begins to question whether home is what she thought it was, forcing her to cast doubt on everyone.
But what if she is the one who should be feared?
